Darren Parkinson

Hi, my name is Darren Parkinson, I am a qualified Mountain Leader currently working my way through the Wainwrights in the Lake District. I retire in 5 years time and hope to have completed them all by then so I can concentrate on bagging all the Munro's in Scotland.

I am passionate for anything outdoors and I have also signed on as a volunteer Ranger with Peak District National Park.

I love getting out nice and early, and regularly watch the sun come up from a mountain summit with the Jetboil roaring away in the background.

I am relatively new to photography and shoot with a Nikon D500 which I originally bought to photograph wildlife, however landscape photography seems to have won that competition.

I am looking to combine my interest in photography, geology and wildlife with my Mountain Leader qualification but not yet sure what that job will look like, any ideas please let me know. In the meantime if you fancy a guided walk, photographing mountain hares or remote landscapes, Geology tours, grabbing some of them hard to get to Geocaches or just fancy a walk then don't hesitate to get in touch.
