Today's walk was from Holme Moss car park to the trig point at Black Hill looking to grab some images of Mountain Hare's in their winter coats with some snow in the background. Plenty of fresh snow on the ground and plenty of tracks to follow but none of them led me to anything. I saw 3 in total but only at a distance and just about managed to get a shot of one typically in its summer coat before it disappeared. At least I know where to find them now, so I'll be back up here. A lovely cold but sunny day with a nice sunset to finish.
