I was just leaving the house to head over to Holmfirth to visit my Grandma when I saw some colour in the sky, so I grabbed my camera and went via Blackmoorfoot Reservoir.
There was certainly some colour in the sky when I arrived but a low bank of cloud stopped it from being anything spectacular. However the low clouds did give a fan like effect for the sun rays behind the clouds which was quite impressive. I did manage to grab a few semi decent photos and got chatting to a local dog walker. He reassured me that this was the best spot in Huddersfield for sunsets, so I think I will be back up here a few more times.
