I suspected a decent sunset so decided to go local and take the dog for a walk but I wanted somewhere that I hadn't been before. 15 minutes later and I arrived at Broadstone Reservoir with a multitude of dog walkers in the area but luckily none near the corner that I had selected to set up the tripod. I arrived just in time for the colour and I managed to get a few decent shots as the sun set. There was also a little Kestrel nearby but by the time I had changed lenses it had gone. A nice little hidden gem of a location with some small trees at the lakeside for some foreground interest.
